As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Covington, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities such as presence of unauthorized persons, property damage, or other unusual occurrences related to the manufacturing environment.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site supervisors regarding incidents, concerns, or security-related needs at the location.
  • Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual observations as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
