Job Description


As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Full-Time in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your presence and communication skills will contribute to a secure environment for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols and maintain visibility, supporting access control and assisting with badge procedures as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public as required.
  • Document incidents and maintain detailed log entries as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as necessary.
  • Support Allied Universal and client leadership in upholding site-specific rules and protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
