As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver Full-Time in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a highly visible presence. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, interacting with visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with the public. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating with Allied Universal and local authorities as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and interactions while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
