As a Security Guard - Hospital Patrol in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all occupants. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and promoting a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities and/or security-related incidents as per established protocols.
  • Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and patients at the healthcare location, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
  • Support access control measures and monitor entrances and exits to help promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
