As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and attention to detail will be key as you conduct routine patrols, remain visible on site, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide support when needed, and contribute to a secure environment while embodying Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to observe for any unusual activity and help to deter unwanted behaviors.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Document and report incidents or security-related concerns according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency personnel when required by site-specific procedures.
• Support a secure environment by maintaining visibility throughout assigned areas of the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
