As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Specialist in Sweetwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail mall location to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail/mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or potential hazards encountered during patrols within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and observations.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the retail/mall environment as directed by site-specific procedures.
• Support emergency response efforts as required and direct individuals appropriately during incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
