As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol Unarmed Days in West Nyack, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will monitor designated areas, conduct regular patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role is crucial in fostering a welcoming environment by delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication to visitors and tenants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed for incidents requiring additional support.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and other security-related matters.
• Remain visible and approachable to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
