As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Bike in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a government location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activities.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel, visitors, and/or local authorities as necessary to promote a secure environment.
• Remain alert and observant while on duty to identify and report potential security-related concerns at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
