As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post - Weekdays in Newell, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical facility, including both business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor facility access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or unusual circumstances according to site protocols.
• Support Allied Universal management, site leadership, and/or emergency response teams as needed during incidents or drills.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
