As a Security Officer - Patrol Associate in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a food and beverage production location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will engage in routine patrols, remain visible to support a strong security-related presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe for and report any suspicious behaviors or conditions that may impact the security-related interests of the location.
  • Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management as directed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, location staff, and visitors while performing duties.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required, documenting any security-related findings or actions taken.
  • Assist with emergency evacuation procedures and support any drills or training sessions related to security-related emergency response.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
