As a Security Officer - Education Patrols Full-Time in PHILADELPHIA, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your routine patrols and visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational campus and its perimeter, adapting to varying environments and conditions.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in helping to deter inappropriate behavior and unauthorized access within the location.
• Communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors while maintaining a visible presence.
• Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and on-site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
