As a Security Officer - Truck Gate in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. Your visible presence and positive communication skills will support a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Monitor access points at the retail location to verify credentials and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and observe for potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining an attentive presence at access control points within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
