As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrols in Modesto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors by addressing security-related inquiries and providing directions as needed.
• Observe and report incidents, hazards, and/or unusual circumstances according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure environment while maintaining a professional and approachable presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
