As a Security Officer - Hospital Security Patrol Driver in Mayfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role will involve interacting with staff, visitors, and patients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. This post requires driving responsibilities, as you may be asked to patrol various areas on site. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help resolve issues as they arise within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help maintain order and support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or concerns according to site protocol and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist hospital staff and visitors with directions, information, and support as needed while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
  • Collaborate with local emergency services and/or on-site teams to support response efforts during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or General Education Development certificate is required by the client.
  • Proof of vaccination as required for hospital settings is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
