As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrol Rounds in Woodbridge, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role focuses on maintaining a secure environment for all occupants, responding promptly to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the healthcare environment.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
  • Support medical staff and visitors with security-related needs and requests while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain awareness of the surroundings and communicate any potential security-related risks to Allied Universal management and site leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
  • At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
