As a Security Guard - Unarmed Medical Patrol in Laguna Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report on security-related matters.
  • Interact and communicate with staff, patients, and visitors to offer assistance and information as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or other concerns found during patrols or as reported by others.
  • Work collaboratively with facility staff and other Allied Universal team members to help to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
