As a Security Officer - Unarmed in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an automotive environment, staying visible and alert to help deter security-related incidents. You will perform routine patrols, engage with employees and visitors, and provide excellent customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with any security-related concerns on the premises.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities within the property.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and guidance as needed.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities encountered during patrols or while on post.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
