Job Description


As a Security Officer - Front Desk and Patrol in Sinking Spring, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Responsibilities include monitoring access points, assisting with badge entry, responding to alarms, and providing exceptional customer service. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to support security-related functions and communications, all while reflecting Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach. What You'll Do:

  • Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and/or staff in a professional manner at the front desk of the healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and maintaining visitor and employee logs as required by site-specific policies.
  • Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with client and site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalation to emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Communicate clearly with Allied Universal team members, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Maintain accurate records and daily activity reports related to security-related matters at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
