As a Security Officer - Armed Hospital Patrol in Macon, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible within a dynamic healthcare location. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the facility and around the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents within the healthcare location.
  • Assist with access control measures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities, including following protocols for medical or security-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to provide assistance and information when necessary.
  • Complete thorough and accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
