Job Description


As a Security Professional - Media Facility Patrol in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a leading technology location, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming experience for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible throughout your shift, and provide exceptional customer service while communicating clearly and professionally. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using company protocols and training.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the location.
  • Maintain detailed reports of daily activities and/or incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to address security-related concerns in a technology-driven environment.
  • Remain observant and professional while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
