As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Coverage in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols across the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will focus on monitoring assigned areas, assisting employees and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the manufacturing and industrial facility, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or conditions found during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Support site access control by monitoring entrances and exits, confirming authorization of individuals, and assisting with visitor management as needed.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property within the manufacturing and industrial setting.
• Participate in required training sessions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of site policies, emergency response procedures, and security-related requirements specific to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• One or more years of security-related experience is preferred.
• Experience working at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
