What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct screening of individuals, packages, and/or vehicles as required by site protocols to help to deter prohibited items from entering designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Monitor the flow of people and materials in and out of the location, keeping accurate logs and reporting any irregularities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
• Maintain awareness of site surroundings and promptly escalate any concerns or incidents according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
