As a Security Officer – Mall Unarmed Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail or mall locations, maintaining a secure environment for guests, tenants, and staff. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activities.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management, providing support and information as needed.
• Document observations and incidents accurately in daily activity reports and/or incident reports as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
