As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Team in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address any unusual situations.
  • Monitor for potential hazards or suspicious activity within the food and beverage processing areas and report findings according to site guidelines.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance or information as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding patrols, observations, and incidents encountered during shifts.
  • Follow all policies and procedures specific to the food and beverage environment, maintaining awareness of any unique operational requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Being at least 21 years of age is required.
  • Having experience with customer service is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Holding a current CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
