Job Description


As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. In this driving and armed post, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote peace of mind for staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the government location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unusual activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures and visitor screening in accordance with site policies.
  • Work closely with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
