Job Description


As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Buckeye, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer focused on access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with visitors and team members, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a secure environment. This role is a driving position, requiring a valid driver's license in the state where you will work.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access points to the premises, verifying credentials and granting entry only to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and protocols to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing questions, providing directions, and assisting with inquiries related to access control.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitor and contractor access, incidents, and security-related activities as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with facility management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate observations, report incidents, and support ongoing security-related improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
