As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver CRE in Katy, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond promptly to situations, and deliver outstanding customer service while building positive relationships with those at the site. This position is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas by vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal's standards. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and employees at the location with directions, information, and access control procedures.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas as directed by site-specific protocols.
  • Participate in site training and follow all Allied Universal and client policies and procedures while performing duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles is required.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
