As a Security Professional - Shopping Mall Patrol in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail and mall premises, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, trespassing, or other security-related concerns, according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and reporting unauthorized persons as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with property management, law enforcement and/or emergency services as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents and any security-related occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and information to tenants, employees and/or visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
