What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed in a healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports related to daily activities, observations, and/or incidents encountered during patrols within the healthcare setting.
• Work closely with staff, visitors, and patients to address security-related concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Support Allied Universal and client policies by maintaining a visible presence and being alert to potential security-related risks specific to healthcare locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
