As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrol Team in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing professional customer service to all individuals at the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm and problem-solving manner, following appropriate protocols.
  • Monitor and report any irregularities, unusual circumstances, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with staff and/or first responders as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned areas to help to deter unwanted activity and to assist staff, patients, and visitors when appropriate.
  • Document and communicate all security-related incidents and/or observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
