As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing knowledge of the healthcare environment and its unique challenges.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols within the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for potential security-related issues.
  • Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal's protocols and site-specific guidelines.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification, and monitoring entrances and exits in designated areas of the healthcare location.
  • Provide support during emergency situations, such as medical incidents or evacuations, by following established procedures and assisting staff and visitors as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
