What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals, vehicles, and/or materials at the location.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities through regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations as needed.
• Work collaboratively with clients, visitors, and staff to support a welcoming and secure environment at the location.
• Document observations and/or incidents according to site-specific protocols and Allied Universal policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
