As a Security Officer – Auto Patrol Monitor PT in Vance, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas at a premier automotive location, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular visibility and strong communication. What You'll Do:

  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activity encountered during patrols, documenting details accurately for follow-up.
  • Coordinate with Allied Universal management and site personnel as required to communicate incidents or issues as they arise.
  • Assist with access control duties at the location, monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
  • Support a secure environment at the auto facility by remaining alert to activities that could impact site security-related objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
