What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage access control points, permitting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies for an automotive location.
• Assist with visitor and employee identification procedures, including verifying credentials and issuing identification badges as required.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering directions or information as requested by individuals entering or exiting the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
• Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations promptly to the appropriate personnel or management.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff with security-related procedures during emergencies and/or evacuations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
