As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Utilities - Weekends in Big Creek, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading utilities location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas, maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the utility location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order on the premises.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the utility location.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Follow post orders and all instructions related to security-related procedures specific to the utility environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
