Job Description


As a Security Professional - Distribution Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer and help to deter security-related incidents within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to promote a secure atmosphere, and interact with people to provide outstanding customer service and communication. As this is a driving post, you will be responsible for driving duties as part of your patrols. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a professional and courteous manner while enforcing access control procedures.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness drills and respond appropriately to fire alarms and/or other emergencies.
  • Work in varied environments and conditions as required by the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
