What You'll Do:

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Carry and properly handle authorized firearms as required for armed security-related responsibilities, following all applicable procedures and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities, submitting them in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Follow all site-specific and Allied Universal procedures for access control, visitor management, and emergency response situations.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with site management, law enforcement, and emergency services as required.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for employees and customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification required in Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
