As a Security Officer - Armed Full-Time in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activity in the assigned area.
• Collaborate with staff, visitors, and/or patients to address security-related concerns as needed.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal standards.
• Support access control procedures and assist with visitor management as required by the site.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
