As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Patrol Driver in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Your visible presence will support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by location within the aerospace and defense sector.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or unauthorized persons to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
  • Maintain awareness of site entry and exit points, monitoring for potential security-related concerns.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff members as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
