Job Description


As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Biker in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain approachable for those in need, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, adhering to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. Working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
