As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver - Retail Clearance in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, visitors, and shoppers. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering excellent customer service and communication. This position is a driving post and requires you to meet Allied Universal's driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols both inside the retail premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activities within the retail environment.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, providing support and guidance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed.
• Communicate with management, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to clients and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
