As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Team in Commerce, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.
  • Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and other Allied Universal team members to maintain security-related protocols specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Participate in security-related drills, training sessions, and meetings as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
