As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to the public. You will conduct routine rounds, offer exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including participation in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the government location in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregularities.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals, including employees, contractors, and/or the general public.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership in implementing security-related protocols and ongoing training.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and promptly communicate any concerns to Allied Universal management and/or local site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
