As a Security Officer -College Campus Patrol Driver in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role requires driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the industrial and manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious behavior encountered during patrols within the manufacturing environment.
• Assist employees, contractors, and visitors with directions and site access in accordance with established policies.
• Maintain logs and write detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
