As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Team in Ocoee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Security Officer supporting a prominent government location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will also interact with visitors and personnel, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. As an armed position, you will be entrusted with upholding security standards and responding professionally to various situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas while on patrol to observe and report any irregularities or suspicious behavior.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a courteous and professional manner, providing directions or assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed reports documenting observations, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required to address incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Must possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
