As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Watch in ORLANDO, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, providing a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including the perimeter and designated areas within a government location.
  • Monitor for unusual activities and report observations promptly to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
  • Assist visitors and employees with questions and directions as needed, while maintaining security-related awareness.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports related to incidents, patrols, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
