Hiring for Armed DOD Secret Cleared Security Professionals that have BSIS issued .40 caliber exposed carry permits, baton permit, less than lethal, handcuff. It is required to have a current CA guard card and a valid CA Driver's License with good driving record (no DUIs and no excessive points). Applicant must have all required licenses and permits. We may be able to assist with the DOD Secret Clearance if you are a US Citizen, do not have duel Citizenship, have no foreign assets, and no recent bankruptcies. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location management.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals at the location and responding to inquiries or concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain thorough documentation of incidents, activities, and observations during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required.
• Remain alert to potential security-related concerns specific to an aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
