Hiring for Armed DOD Secret Cleared Security Professionals that have BSIS issued .40 caliber exposed carry permits, baton permit, less than lethal, handcuff. It is required to have a current CA guard card and a valid CA Driver's License with good driving record (no DUIs and no excessive points). Applicant must have all required licenses and permits. We may be able to assist with the DOD Secret Clearance if you are a US Citizen, do not have duel Citizenship, have no foreign assets, and no recent bankruptcies. Applicant must be able to work weekends, holidays, and open to multiple shift times. 

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine armed patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and engaging with individuals on-site to provide outstanding customer service. This role will require both driving and carrying arms as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols regarding armed response and access control.
• Document incidents and report security-related observations according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support security-related operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
