Job Description


As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time in Hermiston, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a leading food and beverage location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. Your visible presence and customer service skills will contribute to a positive environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including production and storage areas.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized individuals in and around the location.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials of personnel and/or visitors entering restricted areas.
  • Support the enforcement of company policies related to security and access within the food and beverage environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
