As a Security Officer - Retail Facility Patrol - Full Time in Vancouver, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests, employees, and property. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment to address issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns.
• Document any incidents, observations, or actions taken during assigned shifts according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
• Assist with access control by monitoring individuals entering and leaving the premises and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate parties.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, management, and/or emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
